My new one looked like this:
Completely broken off from the part that is screwed to the arm. TBH, I never liked these cable guides on the original arms. If you run multiple cables (Power, 2 HDMI, 1 DP, and USB), they just don't all fit into the cable guide. And it's difficult to work with if you want to remove or change a cable.
So I rummaged around in my spare bike parts in the garage and found an abandoned Velcro strap that originally fastened a tire pump onto a bike frame. I punched a hole in it, used the piece of cable guide that was still attached to the arm as a washer, and attached the strap to the arm. Way easier to use, and the color even matches... 😏😏
I'm on a roll, and feeling a little insufferably pleased with myself...
